Now obviously, for structural reasons, that already doesn't happen a lot. Obviously, because universities are embedded in societies, they have been co-opted as accreditation factories, so their real effects involve reproducing existing social hierarchies and contributing to hyperaccreditation

It's not to deliver a curriculum. It's not to be high school II. It's not to make it so students can pass a test, like the high school tests at the end. The point, the intended point, is that you learn from experts who are active researchers, pushing the boundaries of knowledge
