Since we're doing a blend of TabTargeting and SoftLocking, we also don't do collision checks for the spell effect. Instead we do a quick check to validate the attack and give it a "Lifetime" based on the speed of the effect and the distance to target.

And here's the workflow starting with creating the spell to slotting it in a hotbar! One day I'll touch up on the UI to make it a bit prettier, I promise.

I should probably also pass the caller in with the signal so the player ui doesn't update anytime an entity drops an item. lol
