Oh gosh, yes, I do that all the time!! Ugh. It’s this terrible battle with “this last brushstroke will make it perfect. .. maybe just one more.” I normally stop myself at that point, hide that art and come back to it a week later with fresh eyes.

I’ve started painting on a smaller scale, (8x5 sketchbook) and that’s made it much easier and manageable to practice. Maybe a smaller scale could help?
