Dkr was easy to like just on the face of it being a cool batman story but there’s some really cool storytelling structure going on in both.

Ive got this idiosyncratic thing that if everybody loves some work of art and i dont. Instead of just rejecting it, i feel compelled to understand its artistic merit. I did the same with watchmen and dark knight returns (the comics not the movies).

I dont know why ive been so compelled to rewatch tenet because generally i did not like it on first watch but i got there had to be something i just wasnt getting.

…and thus the title tenet. A palindrom the same forewards as it is backwards (as mentioned from a featurette i saw about the movie) makes more sense to me too.
…There’s some elements of real science concepts thrown in that i feel like you have to be a physicist or neal degrasse tyson to understand but that’s what im pretty certain is happening…

I was raised in the late 80s and influenced by the boom of black media in culture. Even had this toy as a youngin. Saw this in a comic shop couple years ago. Didn’t cop but the nostalgia was strong.
