One of the main surprises last night was the reaction of many in our support. Get the feeling a large % thought it was just a turn up & win game.
Obviously these folk haven't seen many games in last 18 months.
We've had good results in that time but very little good performances.

Would imagine he won't be the only player to leave, truthfully I believe it's not just player's that should be exiting.
Probably one of the poorest euro games you'll ever see.
Technically they were better on the ball than us ,but it's 2 teams that will/would finish in bottom 6 of our domestic league.
Again some bizarre timings of subs, & we were poorer after bringing them on.

A euro night is always that bit special at Pittodrie. Not sure what to expect from visitors, imagine they'll be technically gifted & keep the ball well. Score quite a lot of goals apparently.

We've yet to get a point following the away euro games this season. Hopefully we change that today, be very difficult tho.

Miss the days when folk either just wore a poppy or didn't. Stood silent on the 11th or didn't. Then we just got on with our lives.

Tonight showed how vital the draw in Europe is. 1st time this campaign we looked like we could complete.
We did okay, although decision making in final 3rd again poor. Should or scored near end , but then they miss a sitter just after.

Even not taking Thursday into account we're underdogs today. Hibs better than us for over a year now.
Last week proved tho that underdogs can cause upset.

Said it in August, but our failure to address the defence in the summer was criminal. Already costing & will continue to cost us many goals & places in league.
Equally as vital as a striker and LB, another CH is crucial to get in this month.
We had 1 of the weakest and poorest defence in league last season & we're going with same personel again this season,which has already been proved isn't good enough & will cost us time after time.

The down side of that glorious day in May is we have to play these games. Out of our depth doesn't get close.
Just need it over with in December and then concentrate on staying in the top flight.

Imagine we did actually qualify for a WC & had to play a decent or even half decent team.
Watching that has me nearly looking forward to watching Dons next week.
