This is because they view their children as their property. They are not citizens with rights, they are possessions. It's the same reason these types hate public schooling; I own my child and should get to decide what they think.

It's a nice change of pace to hear about good people such as yourself bringing families together. Too many evil individuals trying to tear American families apart.

This is another great example of why there is no point in Dems trying to appeal to conservatives. Dems deport even more people than Trump and conservatives still consider him "tougher on the border". All that does is lose Dem votes from their base.
