Jacket is close to done! I've added horsehair braid to the hem of the jacket for a little extra flair. Gotta do a HEAVY pressing, some handsewing, and the closure but she's coming along! Flatlay hopefully tomorrow~

Verdict: NOPE lol. Enough for one side but not the other. That's on me for wanting it all one piece I suppose.
That aside, the jacket is coming together nicely! I'll switch over to boots for tonight and get back on the jacket tomorrow~

Spent part of tonight digging through the stash to see if I have enough matte white satin for the trim. Verdict: MAYBE! I'll see tomorrow and possibly buy some Friday! But the jacket and lining are cut - lined in scuba to give it some body, I'm also probably gonna put horsehair along the hem?

No picture update tonight but I've finalized the jacket pattern and patterned the boot(I may adjust the top to be a lil more floppy?)Also my idea for keeping these up: sacrifice dance tights, glue felt square inside tights, sew snaps to felt/tight combo, snap on the inside of boots, no slidey boots!

Shorts need a touch of handsewing but then they're done. They even have back pockets and lining (the pen marks the bottom of the pocket)

Shorts need a touch of handsewing but then they're done. They even have back pockets and lining (the pen marks the bottom of the pocket)

Okay doing running stitches down the seams helped a bit? But I still hate the shape. So I'm gonna try taking in the front and back drastically before giving up and rebuying 🥲

Best laid plans, and all that. Going to focus on the handsewing tonight and reassess the top tomorrow - if I need to rebuy, it'll be a few days so I'll work on other pieces in the meantime~

The shirt needs a lot of handsewing and pressing, as well as the upper collar and X ties (it has a side zip to actually get into it lol)

I started second guessing myself, and pulled out the fabric I used as a tablecloth at my booth for a 3rd option.

Okay THIS is a more accurate to the eye color representation. Though I suppose if I have to fight with it so much to photograph correctly on a phone, it may be not worth it to use 🤔 and while I could dye the lighter just a touch, that is literally my least favorite thing sooo

Iykyk 😏 I need to take a few photos in the daylight, because my phone is reading the darker as WAY more blue than it is. But I may go with the lighter turquoise and the darker yellow (last pic)
