Experienced a superb performance from Sophie Crawford at Bowes Park Folk Club - stunning voice, excellent musicianship, and great presence. Her rendition of "When I Rise" was particularly evocative.

The Jolly Anglers, Wood Green was shut down bcs one guy in the block of flats next door complained about noise.
I know this, bcs he showed up boasting about this fact, at the Blue House Yard across the road, trying to get the bar there shut down for running music gigs. Mid-afternoon. On weekends.
