Agreed, but it’s easier with children who haven’t consumed a lot of media. I still see a lot of reaction videos of first time viewers that don’t know Vader is Anakin because they’re watching in chronological order.

Maybe you aren’t understanding. If you watch 1-3 first, then by the end of 5, there’s no shock. You know vader is Luke’s father. But if you watch 4-5 (entirely) and then the prequels, you don’t ruin the reveal to a first time watcher. Literally the same thing he said
