We've released some preliminary research today demonstrating fine tuning attacks which can bypass the safety mechanism of DeepSeek-R1. These simple attacks show that DeepSeek's safety can be easily removed to provide harmful content, and potentially to a worse extent to non-reasoning LLMs.

12 Allen Bradley teaching boxes delivered today ready for the first week of our cyber MSc ICS security unit next week. With the 6 we already have and 4 more being built we will have 22 Allen Bradley boxes to go with our 25 Siemens boxes, and will soon expand to 20 IoT/IIoT boards to go with them!

Today is water plant cleaning day! It was due a full water change and clean of the tanks. I love doing OT security research but this is definitely the less glamorous side 😅

Prototype of a new little demo I'm working on. Process manipulation of a running ICS process from an android phone on the wifi. Simple app for identifying IPs, Siemens devices then using library to interact with device and cause boxes to be incorrectly sort! Now to apply it to the water plant...
