In between working on holiday and custom orders, I made this cute little orange zipper bag out of cork. Feels good to bring any idea to life.

These little tiny bags were a hit in the spring so I brought them back today at my last market of the year. Little bags, able to hold a gift card, and utterly adorable. Made out of cork, they're quick to cut and sew.

Very proud of this newest witch hat design. This paint tube fabric is so cute, and I had the idea to add a snap so a paintbrush can be attached to the brim. I have more to sew up for Friday's Night Market. Locals get ready! #witchhat #sewing

I had a wonderful time as a vendor last weekend! It is really great to see and connect with people in the area. I will be relaxing for a bit, then back into action for an October event. Witch hats coming soon!

Here's my final saddle bag for this Saturday's event. I really enjoyed the western pattern including a unicorn! Can't forget the keychain spot, that's very important these days.

I've not struggled this much with a bag in a long time, but this one really tested my patience over the long weekend. I kept making mistakes and putting it down. But hey, it has a cute keychain spot for displaying all your labubus and whatnot. 😅

Slowly but surely making a functional sewing room. This week's project was upgrading my mini ironing board. I added more batting inside and made a new cover with this cute apple fabric. Also added stickers to the cart because I have so many that need a home. Now to start sewing bags again soon!

We took a little cocktail class yesterday, and it was so fun! This is actually my non-alcoholic version, very tasty. Did you know that for the mint garnish, you smack it to release the oils? 😂👏

We are so close to being moved into our new home, and we are all so very tired! The cats are grumpy but settling in, and I'm going to the store for supplies every day! Boxes are everywhere, but it's great to call this place home. ❤️

While we are packing up for our move, I'll share some past sewing projects. This here is my attempt at making a "masculine" bag. It's got a simple outside, an accent color, and a large front pocket. My partner helped me pick out all the details.

Here's the last bag I plan to make before we pack up and move into our new house! Tortilla heart handbag seems like a great place to pause. Tomorrow I'll be putting my shop on sale so hopefully I have less to bring with me. Excited to be a homeowner!

We are house hunting, and of course I'm always trying to envision my next sewing room when we visit places with the realtor. Also imagining how the cats are going to fit into the space. It's a big step, we're excited but also just so ready to be done renting unsatisfactory places and find our home.

I've been busy making hats lately! It was an interesting challenge, different enough from sewing bags. Getting the sizing right was tough, something that keeps me from making clothing. But a hat, now these I can do. 🧢
