James Bond is a product of the 1950s, so rebooting him in the present day makes about as much temporal sense and putting him in the 1870s. I know which version would be more interesting, anyway.

Tonight, watching "Only Angels Have Wings," the 1939 Howard Hawks adventure about air mail pilots that Disney apparently decided to turn into an afternoon cartoon starring the cast of The Jungle Book.

Since getting back into #bjj I've been more interested in applying ethics to martial arts practice. So I was intrigued by this piece on doing jiu-jitsu with a punk rock ethos. (Not that I ever had a claim on being punk, but I'm increasingly finding the ethos appealing.) […]

In the next rules update they should change making an appointment over the phone to a free action.

You know those jack o'lanterns where the outer skin is removed in places to make it translucent? How tricky is that to actually do?
Asking for someone who doesn't want to have to buy another pumpkin if they screw it up.
