It's been almost 3 weeks and it's still a little hard. I had to put down my 3rd and final cat (they were with my wife and I most of our adult lives).

I am so glad they finally released physical copies for the whole trilogy, even if it was only in Japan. They still have the English language options in there, so I'm good.

I hate that I couldn't find a new/better home for the girls before they passed, but at least Gobi is doing well.

I love when voicemail transcriptions are a mess. Mine isn't translated from another language, but it's from my mom and was worth saving.

I was lucky to get to go to the Switch 2 event in Los Angeles. I ended up staying the whole day in the area by going to the LA Zoo and then the Glendale Galleria area for dinner.

I don't know how long it will take to get over her death, but she didn't deserve it and I wanted to do so much more with/for her in her old age.

After first starting it in earnest summer 2022 (Odin Pro), I finally beat SotN today on the 4th device using the same save file throughout (Odin Pro -> Steam Deck -> RG35XXSP -> Retroid Pocket 5).

I like and dislike that my cat needs one of us in the bedroom with her, especially on our days off. Otherwise she's screaming at us until we follow her in there.

It's weird that none of these are my "favorite" games of all time, but I have clear memories of them. Lufia was one of those games I played as a smaller child as a rental (From Raley's grocery) and had to find later based on visual memory. But FF3/6 is what REALLY got me into RPGs.

There's been so many orb weavers out lately. @gothicthylacine.bsky.social and I have to try and make sure they are not building in unsafe areas (one was in front of a garage and another at the dumpsters). The pictures are not those spiders.
