Corporations and ultra wealthy control politicians and politics with more than contributions. While supply chain issues were declining corporations kept prices high and hurt Biden/Harris. Now tariffs are increasing prices and corporations are eating a lot of those costs to help Trump.

Corporations and the wealthy manipulate politicians and politics with more than direct contributions. Hurting Biden/Harris by not reducing prices after supply chain issues declined. Now absorbing tariff increases to not hurt Trump. And of course the lie exporters pay tariffs.

In the TV show "House of Cards" every vote was a deal/scheme/quid pro quo. Even within party. In my opinion Schumer made deals to get 8 other, mostly safe, Democrats to vote yes but keep his name off. To try to not lose his next primary. Schumer caved.

In the TV show "House of Cards" every vote was a deal/scheme/quid pro quo. I believe Schumer found 8 Dems that could safely vote yes, made a deal to keep his name out of it. He knows he can be primarily. I believe Schumer caved.

Trump's argument before the Supreme Court is separation of powers and they can't use funds not appropriated by Congress. But when DOGE cut congressional funding Trump said that was perfectly legal.

People want to compare the environmental impact of mining/manufacturing of batteries to emissions of gas. That's apples to oranges. You must compare mining/manufacturing to environmental impact of drilling/refining to batteries then compare exhaust to exhaust.

Vance's half brother, with Vance's endorsement, had a huge loss for mayor of Cincinnati. And in Georgia 2 Democrats won the only PSC seats up for election. Seats long held by Republicans. I wish all 5 had been up for election. We could have taken all 5.

For all of my 68 years I have listened to my fellow US citizens complain about the cost of their insurance AND the cost of their healthcare with that insurance. But when I mention: Single payer; Universal; Socialized healthcare they act like I'm talking about the Devil.

Trump is so stupid and doesn't even know what he's saying. Trump said "fast, furious and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack". He just said that the, supposedly, attacks on christians was sweet.

Growing up a little redneck Georgia boy I never imagined that the people I would eventually hate and fear the most would be (self proclaimed) good God fearing christians. But here we are. What ever happened to "WWJD". Their phrase as empty as their souls.
