I would imagine the Chinese are in a far better place to switch to consuming Chinese goods instead of US goods than Americans are able to replace Chinese imports. Imposing these tariffs will hurt China less than it hurts US consumers.

I would imagine the Chinese are in a far better place to switch to consuming Chinese goods instead of US goods than Americans are able to replace Chinese imports. Imposing these tariffs will hurt China less than it hurts US consumers.
