Now more than ever, world leaders need to act. Humanitarian assistance needs to be allowed in.

Starvation, disease and continued Israeli attacks are causing untold suffering across the region.

Women are driving change in their communities every day. But with diminishing funding globally, their impact is held back. Now more than ever, the world needs to fund the grassroots organisations fighting for a more just and equal world for women and girls ✊

The event saw women’s rights leaders discuss why funding women rights organisations is urgent. As Grace put it: “It is clear from my own experience and my work that it is vital that women provide warmth and synergy for and with each other. Without that connection, women feel lost in this space.”

To mark #InternationalWomensDay, leaders from our grassroots partners, Rahela Sidiqi from the Rahela Trust and Grace Dorong from Root of Generations, shared their experiences from the frontlines of activism at the UK Parliament yesterday.
