Yeah. It’s set three years after Cobra Kai. The showrunners have also said that they were also consulted to make sure that the timeline aligns and not conflict with the series.

It still all about quality. Kraven has negative reviews. The new LOTR is mixed. Both films cited were also not strongly marketed. I don’t think it’s fair to generalized it with the two examples.
