Did you not know that every left wing authoritarian leader was a CIA puppet!?!? Sarcasm aside people are ignorant to history that doesn’t concern them. I knew people from Poland and East Germany from the Soviet era, talk to them about communism.

These seem like ideals to me, and depends deeply on the context. And you could be a lefty in one decade, then suddenly be considered right wing in the next without changing your believes.
