I don't use brown sugar often enough to keep it in my house, so I make it every time I need some. Sometimes, like today, I wish I'd buy that dumb bag of brown sugar that will last me at least 5 years 😂

Chili lime tofu block! It's a recipe that showed up in my zucc's place algorithm that I wanted to try. The sauce is delicious so I'm not mad about all the stuff I had to buy to make it 😅

This is most of a triple batch of skooma, because I couldn't fit all of the vodka in this one. I'll make a quad batch and split the difference next time. Ready in August!

I used to grudgingly eat tuna casserole when it was a nineties food crime. The tuna casserole recipe from Budget Bytes has helped redeem the dish as a whole, in my mind. It went from "number 1 worst dish will never eat again" to "will make again, tasty use of tuna."

I ran out of yarn a little earlier than expected; I supposedly gave myself ten extra yards but had to end the project 30 rows short 😬

Yesterday, I spent about $6 on a fresh fruit cup. It hit the spot so hard! I went out and bought strawberries and pineapple to make my own at home, because I like to save my money if I think I can fire on all cylinders and complete the tasks required. $8.39 later, over 10 servings of fruit cups 🥰

Lima bean, onion, and apricot soup, with honey. Can be served cold as a relish (probably works better if you can find baby lima beans). I added a dash of msg to my serving and it tasted better. Will check out nutritional yeast tomorrow!
