I sing opera and analyze music.
My husband would have put his fist through that doctor if he said that to us… you have restraint!

I totally do, or analyze a bunch of their music right away. System of a Down is a great example of that. I even just did a full album analysis of Toxicity because I just needed more!

Thank you. Still not out of the woods, but we were very stressed this weekend over it.

That’s good to know as we go deeper. Today’s video is trending quite well, I’ll have to do another!

I hope what was cascaded is that the nursing staff and doctors made sure everything was okay. But on the face of it, the front line of my doctors office made me feel like cattle.

Thank you, Bill. And yes, lack of empathy is everywhere and it’s just so sad.

I hope your wife and child got through it okay, and that she doesn’t suffer any issues in the future from it. ❤️❤️

Why o why can’t we have empathy at check in? For something that’s life threatening, why are we treated like cattle? Can anyone in healthcare please enlighten me?

The triage nurse heard what was happening, came out to talk and rapidly ordered all the testing. The head doctor also came over and spent time with us, checking all levels and ensuring they had the right information. It ended up being all good, but the stress from reception didn’t help.

A life threatening complication would need to be scheduled out. We further pressed, and her answer was the same. Too bad, so sad. Essentially, next time you have a life threatening disorder, schedule it properly.

I called early AM and they agreed to do extra tests today to rule out preeclampsia. Cue the receptionist today, who had notes in her file for these tests, but proceeded to tell me that since I didn’t have them on the appointment, they would have to schedule me out for these additional tests.

I spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening in bed suffering from a lot of pain. We were moments from heading to the emergency room. I had an appointment this morning for an ultrasound, so we opted to wait and get checked out properly.

For the last 24 hours, I’ve had a sharp pain in my upper abdomen under my right ribcage, and testing my blood pressure at home, it was extremely high. This is the early warning sign for preeclampsia, even though I’m only at 17 weeks pregnant.

Gah, that would be amazing.

My analytical brain turns on now when I hear singing, which I think is a byproduct from analyzing music on YouTube. It doesn’t happen with classical, which I’ll have on in the background.

I’d love to try one of those 20%’s.

Now that’s a lot of gin!
November 18, 2024 at 2:26 PM
Totally fair, especially since you have tea more throughout the day than coffee. Whew!
