Even if you leave this room, you can never leave this room.
Trump literally has no authority whatsoever over the Smithsonian, and does not control their funding.

Him firing someone there, would be like ME firing someone there.

Bluesky currently has just over 36 million users.
That doesn't sound like 'dying' to me.

You may track it's usage, here:

I recall his brief bit in 'The Natural' where he played "The Whammer," an unpleasant baseball star (clearly based on Babe Ruth), who bets that he will have no problem hitting one of young Roy Hobbs’ pitches.

I am fairly sure that is Snuffles, the dog from Rick and Morty who took over the world.

"It's all a part of the plan," the Trump folk have begun telling us... which I believe is the exact same thing the Joker said right before he handed Harvey Dent a loaded revolver.

Though, something tells me that afterward you wouldn't have held up the broken-off piece of it like you had won a prize.

Superman said that exact same thing once to Lex Luthor.

So you know I'm serious, I bought this album used from Rasputin Records in Berkeley, California for $3.99 in 1980.

Thank you, but your five-minute demonstration period has elapsed and I am now off duty. If you truly wish to pursue a feckless semantical argument, may I suggest you contact Mister Barnyard in the Pedantic’s Department. I must warn you that he is rather contrarian.

Good day to you.

DC rebooted Aquaman to a much darker (and tragic) character back in the 1990s that made Momoa a perfect fit for the role.

Aquaman #17 from 1996:

I'm all for trying. But my own experience has been that much of MAGA is incorrigible. I would like to be proven wrong.

If you find a bridge to them, I will be glad to follow.

I agree with you. In fact, that was the very argument I made, that things will be immeasurably worse for Palestinians, as we are now seeing.

But I also now understand why a lot of Muslims withheld their votes, waiting for Harris to make a stronger statement.

While still in the other place, on the day after the election, I predicted with what Trump would do and the response blaming Biden/Harris for it.

You won't believe this, at first:

Elon Musk was named after a character in a former Nazi SS officer's sci fi novel about colonizing Mars.

I am one hundred percent sure that hat is the same as was worn by most of the villains in Clint Eastwood's 'Man Without A Name" westerns.

But imagine had Kamala won.

Trump said in October that he and Mike Johnson had a 'little secret," likely a plan to not certify the election.

Beyond that, there were a number of worrying stories of MAGA zealots planning 'events.'

Today would have been many times worse than four years ago.
