I love Star Trek, but not enough to keep paying Paramount every month. Time to cancel. Doubt if it will make much difference, but it will make me feel better.

I see after 10 years, CBS is canceling the Late Show with Steven Colbert. Done as of May 2026. I’m sure the merger approval with Skydance had absolutely nothing to do with the decision. 😏

That whirring sound being heard in Arlington is being made by hundreds of thousands of soldiers spinning in their graves, who gave their lives for this country’s democracy. And it’s beginning to look like it might have all been in vain. There may be nothing left to celebrate by next July 4th. 😟

I’m waiting for the requirement of all citizens to attend church ( the one they tell us to) every Sunday under penalty of fine or jail time if you miss.

Between rising prices due to tariffs and other factors, and the loss of healthcare, a good portion of the American population will be devastated..to the point where I doubt if they’ll ever be able to recover..at least not in my lifetime.

The fact that the president is casually talking about shipping U.S. citizens out of the country, or to his new gulags, and stripping them of their citizenship should send chills down everyone’s spines. The lack of response to such a comment is even more frightening. This is NOT who we are!

I’m finding that I have to spend more and more time away from the news cycle and out hiking, for the sake of my mental health. Sure hope I’m not the only one who feels this anxiety? Not sure my mental health will survive the next 3 1/2 years. 🫤

Unfathomable that my granddaughters could grow up in a country where they have less rights than their grandmother did. I just can’t keep quiet and let that happen.
