Previously worked in a dual role at the Georgia Tech Research Institute and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and was a Trainee Affiliate at Northeastern University’s Roux Institute. 🤓

Markian & I worked with Katy Sadowski to create small OMOP CDM patient databases.

We discussed a #workflow to generate 1 million patient DB that went from ~220GB to ~20GB -- ~90% data reduction!

Goal was to provide researchers more realistic & performant @duckdb.org DBs for health informatics. 📊🩺

My first time presenting on compositional public health outside a maths venue! Working on general slogans but we describe it as:

"Compositional public health empowers researchers to reclaim agency through abstraction in public health."

Time to run studies using AlgebraicJulia!
