Sheffield stood up to racism! Over 1000 anti-racists (trade unionists, activists, diverse communities) marched, opposing Neo-Nazi UKIP's ~100. We are the anti-racist majority.

Next: Sheffield & South Yorkshire Unites Against Hate, Sat, Nov 22, 11:30 am, Devonshire Green. Solidarity and victory!

This was a superb watch on Holocaust Memorial Day - highly recommended!
In 2014, Newsnight spoke to Holocaust survivor Anita Lasker-Wallfisch, a cellist who as a young Jewish woman survived by playing music for the Auschwitz camp at the behest of Nazi officials.

Her story features in a new BBC documentary, The Last Musician of Auschwitz.

We do need more open discussion on contraception and its availability, including use of barrier methods with little or no risk to women's health. After all the campaigns to make it freely available, why refer to contraception as women's 'dirty little secret'? @BBCWomansHour
