This was no genuine dialogue about the use of hotels to accommodate asylum seekers. These were no ‘concerned citizens’, or ‘worried mums and dads’, but individuals with nothing better to do on Halloween than film themselves partaking in racist abuse.⬇️

In 2014, Newsnight spoke to Holocaust survivor Anita Lasker-Wallfisch, a cellist who as a young Jewish woman survived by playing music for the Auschwitz camp at the behest of Nazi officials.

We do need more open discussion on contraception and its availability, including use of barrier methods with little or no risk to women's health. After all the campaigns to make it freely available, why refer to contraception as women's 'dirty little secret'? @BBCWomansHour
