Developing a new course on the MCA and alcohol and substance use in the coming months. A complex area where I’m finding a theme of professionals being challenged when completing capacity assessments.

I don’t like the phrase “bespoke package” of care. Because all care packages should be bespoke by the nature of being person centred.

Context: bespoke in this case refers to a package that exceeds 4 x calls a day in someone’s own home.

Folks, does anyone know of any (statistical) analysis of the types of claims brought against the NHS each year? The Annual report of NHS resolution is remarkably unhelpful on the types of issues that most frequently come up in claims.
