My youngest turned 19 today. Last week I got a request for a vegan BAKED chocolate “cheesecake” topped with vegan ganache. Baked it last night & let it rest in the fridge for 12 hrs. 19 y/o decorated it w/chocolate covered freeze dried raspberries, dark chocolate shaving and 4 fresh raspberries.

Handmade mini caramel cups up top in the gold wrapper. Pecan, caramel, and nougat enrobed in dark chocolate in bronze wrapper. Caramel and nougat enrobed in semisweet and wrapped in purple foils and in the gold—caramel, nougat and peanuts enrobed in milk chocolate. 🍽️

We have a few mated pair of Bald Eagles in the rural SE TX county I live in but we have never seen them in trees on our road before today.

This could be an example of the type of lesson in the new bible based Texas k-6 curriculum recently approved by the TEA. It is currently voluntary but any ISD that incorporates it into their classrooms will get a $60 per student bonus from the state.
