That’s cool. I’ll take being called old, instead of listening to a never ending streaming playlist. I’ll take my stack of CDs, memorizing each one, listening on my Sony Discman, reading through the liner notes. Way back in the 20th century 😎😂

Those were advanced! Like the ones that counted down track numbers at the end. I think Marilyn Manson had a hidden track numbered at 99. And I’m pretty sure it sounded like a microwave being tortured.

Let’s not forget the ubiquitous “hidden track.” The one you’d usually come across after you fell asleep with your headphones on. You wake up to some random clanking wondering what’s going on. Don’t get that with streaming… LAME.

Let’s say it’s true. Well so what? Before these buffoons took over, flying was a breeze. Definitely since Buttigieg took over and held airlines feet to the flames. Now? It’s been a mess. Lots of talk. No good action. They’re all full of hot air.

My dad lived it. He was living in LA in 1930 at the age of 10. School would be canceled because of the smog. Kids were asphyxiating and passing out on the way to school. Then when he visited NYC after the war, he said you could barely see the city while IN the city. Let’s not go back please.

They’d be better if he was just actually Bill Burr.

Should be Pete. AOC is looking good lately too. Newsom could be that too. Either way you go, the far left will tear them to shreds right before the next election. No one’s done more for the GOP in recent years than the far left, my opinion.

Fitting. Seeing as that’s how his family made their money. Slum lords. Maybe he’ll try to turn the entire place into a slum. He can be the slum lord of America!

The one my dad stayed in was nothing less than horrifying. No food or water. Filled with criminals. He and his dad didn’t stay long for fear of their lives. America at that time was a free for all. And not one bank or steel baron cared if you lived or died.

I heard that thing sucked too (sorry, but you teed it up perfectly!). My dad DESPISED Hoover (the pres, not the vacuum). He was born in 1920. Living on the streets at the age of 9 with his dad, after the depression hit. They stayed in a Hooverville for a bit.

They even named cities after him! Hoovervilles. Amazing! 🤦🏼‍♂️

Including my niece; who is a fervent MAGA supporter. Losing her SNAP, Medicaid, and low insulin pricing 🤦🏼‍♂️

Do we still use watermelon emojis now? Or is it too late? Where’d the protests go? Or were those fake? Because now the protestors won’t have to worry about Palestinians being treated poorly. There won’t be any of them left 💔

His ear looks better than mine. And I’m 46. If anything, mine looks more like it took a bullet!

What a fucking weird timeline I’m living in. I open TikTok and it mentions “Donald Trump” in the message re shutdown. If there’s one thing I’d like to know, it isn’t the meaning of life. It’s how on god’s green earth so many people began worshipping this lying bag of scum. It confounds me!
January 19, 2025 at 12:57 PM
Why do I have to hear what he has to say about every damned thing in the world? He’s a black hole of emptiness. Needing to be filled constantly, every day, with our attention.

Oldie but a goodie. From the hammer horror/sci fi golden age. Absolute banger!

Since 2002 for me. Keep going!! 👏🏻👏🏻

I’ve been watching mostly PBS Newshour since I left cable news in 2002 (after seeing fade reporting re Iraq on Fox News. My blood pressure has thanked me. And I’ve learned quite a bit along the way. As a bonus, they end every broadcast with a lighter story on art or culture or the like. I enjoy it.

I can barely comprehend the images and video I’ve seen. It doesn’t seem like it could be real. I’m so sad for so many people. A great friend of mine just evacuated yesterday 💔

Tight windup. Excellent follow through. Strike. From the mound. RIP to a true humanitarian, as well as apparently a solid fastballer 🙏🏻👏🏻
