With age I came to subconsciously prioritize games that have a level structure. I tend to play only one at the time, after that the feeling that I have stuff to do overtakes me and I leave it there. I think it gives me a good balance. I'm playing South of Midnight right now, as an example.

Yeah, but I'd argue that's a more a fruit of the environment where Halo was written than a nationalistic view. Although released after 9/11, the game was developed still in the before, in that optimistic "End of History" era, where the World seem to be converging to a united democratic front.

I was raised Catholic, and no, most views and awareness will wildly depend on their background, the level they practice, their priests and their respective background... Most of them don't really think about it. & more often you see people that criticize a progressive pope than the other way around.
