Whenever I hear those "stop making it a big deal" cop-outs excusing everything from extra-judicial murder, to racism, and all sorts of horror, I can't help but think of the South Park Trump doing his "heeeeeeeyyyy relax guyyy" line.

The Black Hole has to be the king of flawed masterpieces. In some timeline I’ve probably written a book on the wild contrasts in that movie. John Barry’s amazing soundtrack echoes them too. The whole thing keeps swinging between children’s toy-franchise sci-fi to dark gothic horror. And that ending!
