Me Everytime I start a new Elden Ring playthrough against the tree sentinel

As an obnoxious athiest, it's still crazy to me how much like 3 or 4 prominent "atheist" agitators turned a lot of the young left against us when stopping right-wing Christian theocracy has been the goal of real anti-theists since the start.

I mean what is there to do? Democrats aren't going to take viable platforms, even if they win. The American people can't be educated, the propaganda machine can't be stopped. We could win 8 elections in a row and still not have a working supreme court. The ball is rolling down the hill.

My only hope is that the general public is absurdly naive, and not truly this stupid. It's not a very strong hope, but I have to try and believe the "middle of the pack" Americans are at least in favor of status quo enough to keep Trump from going maximally fascist.
