If I had ChatGPT literally write for me, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. Here's a quandary. For years authors have used apps like ProWriting Aid to check spelling, grammar & punctuation & few question it. Is ChatGPT different if used this way? I'm not sure but it makes me uncomfortable.

Also, some sites survive on ads, which ChatGPT robs them of. When AI gives me what I'm looking for, I go to where it got it @ then check other sources. Again, it's the start. Sometimes what ChatGPT gives me is garbage. Wikipedia is surprisingly accurate most times but I still double & triple check.

It's disgusting it's happening. When I say I use it as a tool, I'm referring to research on real things, or incidents. Such as information on life in the 1920s I struggled to find on my own. It could be argued I'm not allowing the original writers of that information to get credit. For me, not true.

It's a big issue within the writing community @ rightfully outrage. I've seen many non-writers(?) casually say, "I'll let AI write a book for me." There are seminars on how to do it. Thousands of authors are suing ChatGPT including Margaret Atwood, George RR Matin & John Grisham.

I was very skeptical and concerned about AI but now I embrace it. I use it for almost all my research but it has to be used as a tool only like Wikipedia. It's a great place to start but don't take it at face value. The problem is too many do.

We can't even watch the news. It throws us even deeper into depression. I follow just enough to know what is going which is really unnecessary. I don't need to be reminded Trump and company are evil and are burning everything to the ground. So messy the details don't really matter anymore.

I am sick and tired of his voters saying they were deceived. WTF?

My usual tendency toward optomism is gone. My only concern about this country is how bad it will get before I get out of here. People keep telling me I need to fight. Fighting requires I care and I don't anymore.

The American people need to care. Overall, they don't seem to. The United States is on life support and the paramedics are twiddling their thumbs.

I sent them an email expressing how sad I am I can't shop there after being a loyal customer for decades. I get a nice little AI email saying they still support diversity.

I would say that anything where I can look at Jovan Adepo is worth watching but I won't mention it because I found it to be one of the best series to ever hit television.

I feel like I've sold my soul by not only being there but by selling my eBooks exclusively on Amazon as well. I make too much off Kindle Unlimited to go wide.
