Yes, and I did state that in earlier posts in this thread.
But from what Poet has said about their experience w Chrizz during the website development, I'm pretty sure what HE did to them constitutes plagiarism. Chrizz did at least pay them for the work rendered but that's not good enough for me tbh

The only thing in this response that I agree with and can actually say I respect is the fact that he wants to leave Landie out of this, but he didn't exactly apologize either for the undue stress he put on Landie - which I personally think is in order.

If the community decides it does not want to use AI-made software (which it has every right to) that's on them. But don't be surprised when people abandon ship because this is the hard stance you wanted to take.

You're eventually going to run into so many bugs that the software will degrade, porting SAMMI off of GameMaker will become more and more difficult, and forget onboarding any new devs. They won't be able to read the code they're working with because it's going to be a jumbled up mess.

My thoughts:
This doesn't really address the fundamental issues that I have with him personally nor does it take accountability for his actions, especially towards Poetry.
If you want to use AI to continue coding as a solo dev, be my guest, but it's just going to negatively impact everyone

I'm sorry for all the mistreatment you, Puffin, and the rest of the dedicated Dev team had to experience :/ I really hope a resolution can be reached here soon, whether that's Chrizz resigning or all the Old Guard getting together to make another fork/new base code entirely

I have no problem with Chrizz monetizing his work - or anyone for that matter. If you put love and labor into something and would like to be compensated for it, be my guest. My issue is that he used his position of authority to quash competition.

I would like to see SAMMI's development continue under leadership that is collaborative and open to respectful discussion.

Chrizz and a few other members of the Founder team need to leave. I haven't even gotten into the embarrassing behavior of one Founder subtweeting members of staff over disagreements.

Now that the community is rightfully in an uproar, he's talking about gutting SAMMI again (hence my doubt about any legally binding paperwork) and turn what's left open-source.

This brings us to today with the server imploding after his decision to allow AI into the development process. Which, make no mistake, AI was used in the source code of SAMMI by his own admission. As such, it made development and bugfixing difficult for the team.
