Man HDM TV show really did nail the ending so well. I have qualms about other minor things along the way, but overall it was quite a good adaptation, and importantly absolutely stuck the landing at the end in a completely faithful way in relation to the books.

I know a ton of the fan base disagrees with me but honestly I looooove the ending of Chuck. It was just the most perfect balance of bittersweet 😭

This concept reminds me of the novel Dragons in the Earth by Judith Tarr!

Ok, I thought there was a really vague post you made a few years ago regarding adaptations of your work that sounded like you might have a potential as-yet-undisclosed deal in the works...maybe I was actually reading correctly into that then 😃 sad that it hasn't happened yet though

My partner and I very much enjoyed it. She hasn't read the book though and I haven't read it in ages, so neither of us could really comment on faithfulness to the source material

I forget what you've said on that debate before, which adaptation do you prefer? I've seen 1995 but not 2005 (yet)
