Facts. My theory, I've worked retail for forty years, is that it's mostly people who only get out once a year to shop. Those who are regulars, don't come in when it's crazy and most have their shopping done with us by Thanksgiving. The customers are overwhelmed, sticker shock, impatient, and cranky.

I've gotten snap bandanas from Etsy. The ones I bought this time, the collar goes through one end, kind of like a belt. Let me see if I can find the snap ones for you.

My fur nephew Milo. He's a teeny, tiny Cavapoo.

A plush squeaky bone with his name embroidered that I've been sleeping with so it smells like me. His Michigan State shirt I gave him when he was just a puppy is too small, so I bought him the next size up. He has treats, a Muppets plush (he dressed up as Animal for Halloween), and a pair of shoes.

For Milo the Cavapoo, I went a bit overboard. I bought a My First Christmas ornament from Hallmark. I bought some holiday-themed bandanas that instead of tying or snapping on, that his collar goes through. I have a birthday toy that has dinosaurs in party hats that hide in a plush volcano.

I have a fur cousin and a fur nephew (my BFFs dog) that I've shopped for this year. For my cousin Lacey the Golden Retriever, I got some Christmas-themed treats made by a local dog shop and a squeaky toy that when she chews through it, there's another one inside.

It is like a rave! It's fun when all the dogs at the dog park have light-up collars.

It's a Winter Wonderland!
