I know, right? I loved their writing and story telling in this series.

This was SUCH an amazing series. I ate it up (lots of trigger warnings). I was saddened to discover the author passed away 😭

For me it was the writing. I think the story was there but it felt like so much detail went into small things while (what I thought was important) was brushed over. The hunger games like trials the MMC went through just didn’t connect for me either.
