hearing a childhood favorite author, and seeing Sutton Foster live at the Hobby Center! So many highs and lows. So much… life… While I can’t handle too many weeks like this, I’m grateful for everything that makes my life the beautiful, complex, messy, unpredictable existence it is.

I sincerely hope that no matter what side of political issues we fall on that we can step back and see people as the beautiful, complex creatures we are- each one of us worthy of love and respect. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Have an amazing night, friends!

There is nothing more humbling than being smacked in the face with my privilege as an educated white woman on a Wednesday night. I hope we always continue to grow and learn as a people and a nation. I know the last few weeks have been really hard for a lot of people- myself included.
