Blessed to have seen Spanish Love Songs two nights in a row in really small venues. Live music continues to crush it.

We only had four players show up for our regular Pioneer weekly, so we cubed instead! I got the trophy with GR hasty beaters.

Celebrating my 40th with a weekend of cubing. Started off with a win in @legacyr.bsky.social’s Tempo Towbert. GB felt great, Sexy Hexy, gift, death’s shadow, and friends did good work.

Sweet mail day today. I wanted a nice Path for the cube and went with an old border artist proof. I let the artist sketch whatever he wanted and it turned out sweet!

We had twelve players at our pioneer local last night. Us legacy players often choose to play legacy games instead so I only played one full match with Esper Pixie. Deck is super fun, picking things up and putting them back down works great.

28 players for the legacy weekly tonight. Went 1-2 with mono red stompy. Beat doomsday and lost to dredge and a cool UB show and tell version. We have a 1k this weekend that I might go back to Delver for. Lots of different versions to choose from though.

We had 31 players for the regular Legacy weekly last night (we are blessed). I went 2-1 again with Sneak and Show, the deck is very fun and powerful. Beat UB Delver and Nadu, lost to a sick Mardu energy build where Cabal Therapy just tore my hand apart.

I have been playing a lot of paper Magic lately and I should post about it more. Went to a Premodern 1K yesterday and played Jeskai Bad Mana. I went 2-3 but three friends made the top 8. At least my deck is beautiful. The format totally rules as always.

We got to Chicago early enough to fire the Twobert twice already. I picked up two trophies with UR and RW. My biggest leak in cube is loving the red cards too much.

I went 5-2 at the @rochesterroyals.bsky.social Winter Ball ‘25 premodern charity event! I got 9th on breakers with “The Solution” but the vibes were immaculate. Almost 70 people showed up to a VFW in Rochester to raise money for a local food bank. I am so thankful to have the Royals events here.

My friend gave me a heads up too which was great, because the latest image in my head was the one from that calendar he organized.

Almost all 2023 albums but lots of bangers. Seeing SLS twice and Sleep Token this year were definitely the highlights.

Marathon number 13 in the books. I ran 22 good miles but then the wheels came off. Philly was great to us as always.

No surprises here. If you also would like hundreds of hours to listen to podcasts, I recommend training for a marathon!
