Sammy is flat out of his gourd. There's no crawlspace, bag or cooler small enough to stop him from making his way in. Same goes for cabinets, drawers & car trunks. The wife loves him. Me, too, but I have to clean up after him...

Haven't been here much, but:
7am wake-up: Loud rattling in the tub. The wife left a “Playmate” cooler in the bath (post-using it to defrost a turkey). So, Sammy crawled in, rolled & sealed himself in! Didn’t yelp or meow at all, but was covered in his own urine upon release.
No photos of that. #cats

I'm still, 18 years later, trying to figure out which neighbor named their WIFI network "fingering your asshole."

Perfect double (San Francisco) feature w/ Freebie & the Bean.

(But the Laughing Policeman has a scene @ La Palma [2884 24th Street, San Francisco, CA 94110], so it's top billed.)

The greatest thing ever was when my kid took well to Psycotic Pineapple. Driving/car stereo time was so much fun for a long, long time. Little Roger & The Goosebumps, too. (Yeah, that's w/ DAVE Seabury. Still.)

I think I still have a few Stairway to Gilligan's Island singles that need homes...

Interestingly (to me), the Lockers were a big part of Richard Pryor's controversial set @ a '77 Hollywood gay rights rally. Google IA doesn't do it justice, of course. Especially since Richard had expressed engaging in & liking sex w/ men BEFORE reacting to the racism & elitism of the crowd/crew.

Italian soundtrack for WAKE UP AND DIE (1966)

Music by Ennio Morricone / theme sung by Lisa Gastoni

As good as, perhaps better, than the movie. You should own both.

A great article! The 1st Punk band I ever saw live was likely the Schematix from Santa Cruz. (W/ Chris Isaak/Silvertones in S. Stockton circa '82.) But there WAS a great scene & shows in S.C. for decades. Basement shows w/ Thrones, good Catalyst bills, etc., but the rent ain't cheap. College town...

Ok, now try to explain "The Night The Lights Stayed On In Pittsburg." Also, if you have a copy of this 7" I'm willing to make offers.

The 1st one, "Underground Punk Rock From The Vaults (Rare And Obscure Punk 1979-1983)," looks interesting. Gary Quazar's probably the only one I've heard of. But too bad if it actually "Sounds like some MP3" or "songs sounds better on youtube."

While not newsworthy, nor to detract from the fabulous Mark Volman, but The Oxford Circle, too! From Davis, California, w/ Stockton, CA connections, the Oxford Circle were terrific. Paul Whaley & Gary Yoder eventually went on to Blue Cheer & Kak.

I totally forgot that Rick Moranis was in it! I went to the theatre to see him (all SCTV/all the time), only to be thrilled by Lee Ving & Chris Penn.

No Lee Ving pics? Bummer.

I remember Gilbert & Frank discussing this. Can't remember which GGACP episode it was, but somebody suggested to them that RR was trying to shed his fake good-guy image. Either way, Pollard & company shine.

100%

w/ Hannibal Brooks (1969) it was clear that Hollywood felt the same. I don't know what happened, but as a kid it was his Melvin & Howard turn that made me cling HARD to his brilliance.

Could be wrong, but believe that to be a Randy "Biscuit" Turner flyer.

w/ all due respect to the famous guy, Michael J. Pollard, Noah Beery & Lucille Benson are the true stars of this terribly uncomfortable movie. Any & all Michael J. Pollard, Noah Beery & Lucille Benson related movies are highly recommended.

As a dopey guy w/ a clear Crime problem, can you let me know where you found this image? Perhaps there are some aging/memory issues over here, but that one doesn't ring a bell. 1979, presumably.
