if i may follow up, i also hate seeing men use today as an excuse to be misogynistic and say shit like "why is women's day so important but men's day isnt???" its because women had to fight to get to where they are now, men didn't. same reason there's no white history month or straight pride month.

i hate seeing people spread negativity about this stuff just because Men Bad, like obviously yes the partriarchy exists and should be dismantled but hating Every Single Man Ever isn't gonna get you anywhere, it'll only create more vitriol and perceived reasons to hate men. its a cycle.
