Taking a stab at a low poly version of my sona in Blender and finished the base sculpt last night. Gonna try texturing and rigging this sucker for animation and we'll see what happens since it's my first attempt. ☺️

Haven't been able to do much 2D art in a hot minute, but am finally able to draw again. At least more than before CTR surgery.

Here's some loose, sketchy doodles I made after adjusting my pen pressure. Wild how I suddenly don't hate 90 percent of my brushes after that. 😅

Been struggling to draw with the carpal tunnel, but still managed to slowly ink this neoclassical inspired nephilim drawing while wearing a brace.

This weekend, I got to wear my outfit for an online event and am really thrilled with how it came together.

As someone who hates drawing backgrounds and struggles to know how much detail to add or suggest, might I recommend timed gesture drawings of 3D shapes, buildings, and scenery. It's helping me a ton. 😊

Line of Action is a great site for this.

There's things I'd probably do differently in hindsight to minimize the upolstery foam base showing through, but I love how good it feels to finish a thing I made with my own two hands. Merlin seems to like it too. 😁

Now all that's left is to finish the antennae... 👀

I finally finished the super motion cosplay tail I've been working on for my faesona, Silly!

Been teaching myself to hand sew and chipping away at it for about 5 months. I gave myself permission to make mistakes, and now I have a swishy tail! 🥰

So, I vended last weekend and only managed to sell a keychain, so I'm putting a pause on vending and con stuff for a bit. Not giving up by any means, but giving myself a chance to build up my inventory/portfolio and refuel my creative well.

Went to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo with my friend @kayschains.bsky.social and had a blast. You cannot convince me this isn't the real Patrick Star lol.

I really love that the zoo prioritizes the animals welfare and species conservation efforts 🥰
