My b the screens hot looked like bandcamp. I can't find physical copies of these albums anywhere at Barnes & Nobles or even nearby underground shops.

What's more surprising is beautiful Christmas lights in the top ten, and not sleighride to heck

This is proof that pop-culture doesn't become widely beloved until after it has been in the zeitgeist for multiple decades.

Oh wow they're attacking actual law enforcement too?

like...where did the idea behind them originate from (bluesky has a stupid word limit)

ohhhh. it was released in record stores on July 1st.

I've also been meaning to ask where you got the inspiration for album's theme? What were some of the first songs recorded btwn 1995-97 [besides bad astro, ballbuster, & bathroom buddies]

where did tracks like pizza rocket, pb&j come from?

I know the album's backside said it was finished in May of 1997. Your bandcamp page says it released on September 1st, but I couldn't find any other sources online.

You would think "Hockey Monkey" or even "Pizza Rocket" would be the two biggest songs on the album, but I guess Kablam just doesn't have the same mainstream appeal that SpongeBob does. Because in a lot of ways Hockey Monkey is the Ocean Man of the Monkey vs Robot CD

Its alright if you don't want to. I was just moreso confused as to why it or "Punk ass Bitch" weren't on there.

Are there any plans to release 1995's True Story of James Kochalka Superstar on bandcamp? It's weird that the first studio album isn't available on there.

Their video about scrapped 64 DD games basically replaced it (very spark notes but still)

It's a tired point yes, but this happens to all of us. Take your time. We prefer quality over quantity.

(BTW I remember saying some semi off putting stuff about you on Twitter and wanted to apologize for that)

Actually insane. Stuff like this is why Sakurai doesn't interact with his fanbase.

I knew the guy was a loser, but I didn't know he'd go that far. What a jerk.

2. Latin America
3. Japan

Didn't the creator of one of the Monkey vs Robot videos went on to create the music videos for "Don't Trust Whitey" and "Copenhagen China Box"?

Also speaking of Hockey Monkey, how did collaborating w/ the zambonis come to be? Did one group approach the other? did tarquin execs encourage a co-lab?
August 26, 2025 at 4:16 AM
follow up question: was the Monkey vs Robot album (where this song originates from) always intended to have music videos or was it just something you did after Mark Marek liked your lp so much?

Crazy to think that song was on the same album as this:
