It's all good, we learn something new every day! It's an unfortunate fact that most conspiracy theories, if you dig deep enough, are either rooted or become entrenched in anti-semitism. It's like Godwin's law, only in reverse. I don't know if there's a specific term for it.

I think both of you are correct. We need empathy and understanding to overcome the harsh realities of life. One of those harsh realities is sometimes you have to literally kick fascist teeth in when they start to do their thing. Otherwise, they will consume everything, as is their nature.

Not a good start to Pride month at all... such a tragic, senseless waste of life. Keep your LGBTQ+ friends and loved ones close. Check in on them, comfort them, and remind them that they are loved in the face of our increasingly bleak and insular society.
