What this looks like for me: shedding things I don’t need or use, or that don’t fit me anymore.
When you gather up the things you don’t need or never use it certainly makes your consumption/waste much more visible.

We also didn’t get to cook with the kids for almost a month at the beginning because our kitchen was in such bad shape. It took us about 3 weeks to get it into a condition we could have the kids cook in—had to replace nearly all the tools, equipment, groceries and other consumables.

I think the marinara activity can go—it was designed to teach kids how to balance acid with salt but I feel like there are better ways to do that. I really want to teach the kids about lean vs enriched doughs and sourdough. We didn’t get to do bread this time so I want to include that.

Looking forward to next semester and adding a few more activities for the kids to do that I think they’ll enjoy and learn a lot from. #teaching

The group at the end was such a lovely group of people too! I loved how they supported and encouraged each other—almost like it wasn’t a competition but a showcase.

If I can sip whiskey sure! 😆 Never have liked wine, no matter how good it is supposed to be. But give this girl a smooth bourbon and it is ON.
