Man my turning point was the bottom of the 8th in G7. Gimenez fakes the bunt and slaps that ball hard but right in to Muncy’s glove. Right there I felt like it was ordained. I also recognize there were chances to win, but that was the spot

That’s a weak argument Keegan. The bats didn’t have a hit after the third inning. That’s the story of game 2. The work that Gausman has done all playoffs has been amazing considering he’s gotten no run support in any of his starts.

That’s fair in ordinary circumstances but when you have rolled out a bunch of ineffective guys I would stick with the effective guys a little longer

To be honest today is one of the few days I really disliked the bullpen usage.
I thought taking Fischer out didn’t make sense, though I am sure it was to give Lauer a clean inning. I also didn’t understand taking Fluharty out with a LHH starting the 8th, regardless of the result

He’s definitely pressing. Aside from Springer no one else has done much so he’s most likely putting more pressure on himself to produce. Which isn’t going to help. He needs to be free to take walks but lately he wouldn’t have moved over anyway

There’s more than enough dumb people here in Canada choosing not to use them and causing shit to go sideways too. But we still have them and they work
