A lot of the complexities of C++ come from the absence of a garbage collector. IMO the use case for gaming makes sense if you need to make your own game engine optimization, but not really for programming features. (I've worked on system level code and refuse to work on higher level systems/app lol)

I feel like it's easier to focus on two plates at once (school and work rn) and let the others smash the ground. Unfortunately, the other plates will have to be glued back, and I can feel them smashing around me. 😭
