Resistance 2025
Pinned
Friendly reminder that shopping small business is one of the most socially responsible shopping choice you can make.

The corporate executive class will be using the money you give them to influence US politics against your best interest.

As evidenced by Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg support for Trump
Where are the reports of drug cartels firing on military personnel or American citizens?

This is a highly unusual war declaration

We believe healthcare is a right for every American.

But starting today, millions of people will be notified that they are being priced out of their insurance thanks to Republican policies.

Enough is enough. The GOP may shut down the government, but we will stand tall for YOU.

Threads may be starting to ban left-leaning political content

That username was where I did a lot of political yapping, most posts with 3 or more sources, as a means of highlighting the frequent illegal things being done by Trump and Republicans

D.C. is not a dangerous city.

Nor is L.A.

The only danger is the Trump regime and its secret police force—ICE.

They are committing crimes.
They are terrorizing communities.
They are tearing families apart.
They are kidnapping people.

They are the problem.

And we the people are done with them.

Washington DC right now is very clearly a rehearsal of something far more serious coming down the line.

Make sure you match all energies and do your own preparation

I'm sorry.
I couldn't resist.
And yes, that sound is people groaning and slapping their foreheads all over the world.

Language like "he who saves his country does not violate any law" also applies to anyone who would remove a would-be dictator from power.

That would be an act of saving his country, thus any law that might stop such an act does not apply to the revolutionary.

You went there.

Not us.

Folks, I see a lot of you recently feeling free to use some variation of the "R" word for mentally disabled, including appending the last four letters as suffix to describe people you don't like. I'm not down with that, so if you do it in my comments, I'm gonna hide that shit at least. Be better.

Someone, who used to know better, told me today that it’s patriotic to support the president even if you don’t always agree. This is the excuse being used by many to explain their acquiescence. Actually, this is what a patriot is: www.nytimes.com/2025/02/02/u...

People have gathered outside USAID HQ for press event with Democratic Congressmen Beyer, Raskin, Connolly and Olzewski and Senator Van Hollen where they're addressing the building's mysterious shutdown today in the midst of the Trump admin dismantling the agency.

Ive said this before. Unions have a moment in time to create parallel, Non Profit Trust or Associated Health Plans and
offer them to small to medium size businesses.

Unions can negotiate far better than SMBs or associations .

Imagine if millions got their healthcare from unions ?

Thoughts ?

A modern adaptation;

First they came for the immigrants
And I didnt speak out because I wasnt an immigrant
Then they came for the women
And I didnt speak out because I wasnt a woman
Then they came for LGTBQ
And I didnt speak because I wasnt
Then they came for me
And nobody was left to speak for me

PROP - PR Over Policy.

Don't confuse them.

He is flooding the zone. He knows that media will cover everything he does. Getting people upset. Which helps give him more coverage of the upset people. All just talking about him.

Dems need to be strategic.

And it likely isn't an order that Trump has legal authority to issue
