I has started to look at a NESN 360 subscription just last week. No more. (I haven't followed the Red Sox since the Mookie Betts trade , although I was a diehard fan before that.) I find it nearly impossible to root for a team's success when it's so clear that ownership is not doing the same.

One of my most respected friends (citing that verse in part) says that our default assumption should be that every billionaire is a sociopath. I haven't seen much to prove him wrong.

Could it be possible that in this regard, the Mavs took the easy way out? Lots of people take a long time to grow up and being a celebrated insanely rich young man probably doesn't help the process. Luka wouldn't be the first athlete who starts to mature later in his twenties, rather than earlier.
