I did think it was him and tied in with the “game and a half” thing. I like him but he’s got to add goals and assists to his game. If he doesn’t do that, he’s just going to get stuck behind Sven and Holt.

Kirk was good but I thought he’d ran his race pretty early and shouldn’t have been on for 90 minutes. Max and McPake weren’t great but have had zero minutes for the past few months. No idea what Smith’s done but he’s certainly not the managers favourite.

You could see that at Motherwell last week where he was stuck out on the left and wasn’t able to get past his man on the outside and had to go back to Douglas or back inside. Not his fault just not his natural position.
