Hey you got a better musical culture than most people! I also did listen to Mirage and The Snow Goose, really really good albums! Listening to them as a whole is definitely the way to do it to get a full experience. I definitely liked Mirage better

Super late King Crimson inspired (90s-2000s) and has two members of king crimson. Chapman stick and touch guitar galore.

Separate Realities - Trioscapes (album)
Really heavy prog consisting of a bass player, drummer, and saxophonist. Gets really crazy.
