Where I REALLY feel the emptiness is on planets like Lothal, which is maybe way I associate it more with the animated series. You never see any traffic on those roads in Lothal and the cities feel so empty.

I liked the city they set up in Obi Wan for similar reasons despite it being a worse show, but like a lot of other Star Wars properties it just felt a little… Empty? Even with people.

I really loved Ghorman, it feels like a real place I could visit with a real culture. There’s so much charm. So much depth- the fact that they invented a language just to make it feel more grounded is the kind of little detailing I want to see more of in Star Wars.

I like Pete and think he’s at least half right, but I think there needs to be room for taking a stand when we need to. This trans bathroom situation is one worth digging our boots in and taking a stand on given how much it affects marginalized people.

For as much work as Americorps is, being able to sit and journal on a mound on the weekend at what was once the site of a major Native American civilization is pretty epic.
